December Meetings

Pete Carter and I have attended a number of important meetings recently.

On Friday 18th we managed to get up to London, despite the Arctic weather conditions to meet with Land Securities regarding the User and Management Agreement for the building. Discussion on this and the ground lease Heads of Terms will continue on the 7th January as we ran out of time !

We were also scheduled to meet with our consultants for a Transport and Travel Workshop on Monday of this week. Due to bad weather the workshop was unfortunately postponed as other team members were stuck in East Kent and Brussels ! The workshop has now been rescheduled for the 11th January and will cover key aspects of our forthcoming planning application. We spent the time with Martin Steele our Architect very usefully however, reviewing the current design and progress made over the last 6 weeks.

Our target is still to submit a planning application in January.

Site Meeting with Planners

Following our meeting on Monday which went very well, a site meeting has now been arranged for Monday 7th December. At this, the planning officers will be able to gauge the proposed building in its surroundings. The building has been pegged out to give a visual demonstration of our proposal.
The picture shows excavations for Archaeology previously carried out on our site in March 2008.
